The Kurogou Hohogu Library, completed in 1998 in Mita, Hyogo Prefecture, represents a thoughtful integration of architecture and landscape. Designed by Azuma Takamitsu and the Azuma Environment and Architecture Research Institute in collaboration with Azuma Toshie, this library building exemplifies contemporary Japanese architectural philosophy.
