Shitamachi Collective Housing represents a contemporary approach to residential design in Tokyo, completed in 2023. Designed by Inui Architects and developed with Haseko Corporation's Engineering Division, this multi-unit residential building thoughtfully integrates modern architecture with the character of its historic downtown neighborhood. The project demonstrates a sensitive balance between preserving local community identity and introducing contemporary living spaces.
