Hoshi no Mori is a distinctive multipurpose facility completed in 2003 in Unuma, Kakamigahara City, Gifu Prefecture. Designed collaboratively by Masami Kobayashi and Archimedes Design Laboratory, alongside landscape architect Mikiko Ishikawa and her research team at Keio University, this structure seamlessly integrates bicycle parking with restroom facilities. The project exemplifies contemporary Japanese architecture's approach to blending utilitarian infrastructure with thoughtful urban design.
