Abita Tomatsuri is a contemporary residential complex completed in 2000 in Utsunomiya, Tochigi Prefecture. Designed by architects Kunihiko Sarashita, Tatsuou Iwaoka, and Taizo Iwashita, this terrace house and row house development exemplifies early 2000s Japanese residential design. The project demonstrates thoughtful integration of traditional townhouse typologies with modern living standards. Located in the Tomatsuri district, the complex showcases the collaborative approach of its three architects in creating functional, harmonious living spaces. The building represents an important example of contemporary residential architecture in the Kanto region during this period.
