Hayakita Gakuen, completed in 2022, represents a contemporary approach to educational architecture in Hokkaido. This integrated facility combines elementary, middle, and high school programs under one innovative design. The collaborative effort of Atelier Bunk, Team Lab, and the Educational Environment Research Institute resulted in a structure that prioritizes fluid learning spaces and student interaction. Located in Abira Town, the building demonstrates how modern architectural practice can reshape traditional educational environments. Its design reflects current thinking about flexible, technology-integrated spaces that support diverse pedagogical approaches while fostering community connection and creative development among students.
