Hirosaki Brick Warehouse Museum, completed in 2020, stands as a remarkable example of adaptive reuse architecture in Aomori Prefecture. Designed by the collaborative efforts of Atelier Tsuyoshi Tane Architects, NTT Facilities, and Starts CAM, this museum expertly transforms a historic brick warehouse into a vibrant cultural space. Located in Yoshinocho, the building honors its industrial heritage while embracing contemporary design principles. The architects skillfully balanced preservation of the original brick structure with modern interior interventions, creating a dynamic dialogue between past and present.
