Compatibility/Domain is a residential project completed in 1999 located in Gonohe Town, Aomori Prefecture. Designed by architect Naoto Yaegashi in collaboration with Norm Nal Office, this house represents an innovative approach to domestic architecture. The project's name reflects its conceptual foundation, exploring the relationship between spatial compatibility and defined architectural domains. Built during a period of experimentation in Japanese residential design, the structure demonstrates thoughtful integration of functional living spaces while maintaining distinct architectural zones.
