JR Nada Station South Plaza, completed in 2024, represents a contemporary approach to urban public space design in Kobe. Developed through a collaborative effort by E-DESIGN, Mobility Design Workshop, Hatano Tomohiro Architects, and their joint design consortium, this plaza demonstrates thoughtful integration of mobility and landscape principles. Located in Nada Ward's Iwaya Kitamachi district, the space functions as both a functional transportation hub and a welcoming public gathering area.
