Kami Library "Kamil" opened in 2022 in Tosa Yamada, Kami City, Kochi Prefecture. This contemporary library was designed through a collaborative effort by a joint venture, Yorimitsu Architectural Design Office, and Higashihata Architectural Office. The facility represents modern Japanese library design, seamlessly integrating functionality with thoughtful spatial planning. The architecture reflects current trends in public facility design, creating an inviting community space that serves both practical and cultural purposes. The building demonstrates how contemporary design can enhance the library experience while respecting its role as a vital public institution for the local community.
