Kawatsudori Doremi Kindergarten is a contemporary childcare facility completed in 2014 in Sanjo, Niigata Prefecture. Designed collaboratively by Cho Architectural Design Office, Hideyuki Yamashita, and Noritai Ejiri, this project demonstrates thoughtful architectural consideration for early childhood environments. Located at 955-2 Ozaki in Sanjo, the facility combines functional design with spatial quality appropriate for young children. The collaborative design approach reflects expertise in creating safe, nurturing spaces that support child development while maintaining architectural integrity. This work exemplifies modern Japanese approaches to institutional childcare design in the early 2010s.
