KOMORE Bldg. is a contemporary residential complex located in Sekimachi, Nerima Ward, Tokyo, completed in 2019. Designed by architect Masamitsu Nozawa, this project reimagines the traditional Japanese townhouse typology through a modern lens. The building combines elements of long-house and terrace house design, creating a distinctive residential environment that respects historical architectural traditions while embracing contemporary living standards. Its thoughtful integration of communal and private spaces demonstrates innovative approaches to urban residential design, making it a noteworthy example of contemporary Japanese residential architecture.
