The Kumamoto Prefectural General Disaster Prevention Aviation Center, completed in 2017, represents a contemporary approach to specialized infrastructure design. Located in Kikuyo Town, Kikuchi District, this facility combines transportation and industrial functions within a thoughtfully conceived architectural framework. Designed collaboratively by Raito Sekkei and Jiro Ogawa of Atelier Simsa, the center demonstrates how modern architecture can effectively serve dual purposes of disaster prevention operations and logistics.
