The Kurogawa Satoyama Center, completed in 2024 in Kawanishi, Hyogo Prefecture, represents a thoughtful integration of administrative and disaster prevention facilities within a rural landscape setting. Designed collaboratively by EXPO, YAP, and Kimura Matsumoto Architects, this structure exemplifies contemporary approaches to public architecture that respect local environmental contexts.
