Kusunoki Komorebino-Sato, completed in 2009, is a multifunctional facility located in Ube, Yamaguchi Prefecture. Designed by Fumio Uchida and the Uchida Laboratory at Yamaguchi University Graduate School in collaboration with Ryu Environmental Planning, this structure seamlessly integrates social education, agricultural, and commercial functions. The building exemplifies contemporary Japanese architectural philosophy by harmonizing modern design principles with natural surroundings, creating an inviting community space that promotes environmental awareness and local economic development through thoughtful spatial design and sustainable practices.
