Kyoto Tanaka Collective Housing is a residential complex completed in 2015 in Sakyo Ward, Kyoto. Designed through a collaborative effort by Nawake Kenjim, Kiyomasa Takashi Architectural Design Studio, and Tanaka Akishige Architecture Office, this project represents a thoughtful approach to contemporary multi-family housing in Kyoto's historic context. The building demonstrates how modern residential architecture can integrate with traditional urban environments while providing functional living spaces for multiple households. Its design reflects careful consideration of both aesthetic and practical requirements in one of Japan's most culturally significant cities.
