Sodachi no Oka, completed in 2016, is a comprehensive support facility in Matsusaka, Mie Prefecture, designed by Third Party architects. This integrated complex serves dual social functions as both a children's developmental support center and elderly welfare facility, reflecting contemporary architectural approaches to multigenerational community care. The facility's design thoughtfully addresses the distinct needs of its users while creating a unified architectural expression. Situated in Shimomura-cho, the building represents modern Japanese welfare architecture that balances functional requirements with sensitive spatial planning for vulnerable populations.
