Midori no Oka Terrace is a contemporary residential complex completed in 2020, located in Setagaya Ward, Tokyo. Designed by the collaborative team of Sumimatsu Hirokazu, Sumimatsu Yoko, and Nagase Tomoki of SUEP., this project showcases a thoughtful approach to modern urban living through its terrace house typology. The building seamlessly integrates individual dwelling units while maintaining visual and spatial coherence across the site. With its emphasis on connectivity between residents and the natural environment, Midori no Oka Terrace represents a refined example of contemporary Japanese residential architecture that balances contemporary design sensibilities with community-oriented living principles.
