Nagi Terrace, completed in 2018 in Okayama Prefecture, represents a contemporary approach to community infrastructure design. This multi-generational public plaza combines transportation and commercial facilities, serving as a vital civic gathering space for the town of Nagi. Designed by the collaborative team of Atsushi Inagaki, Satoshi Sano, Takuo Nagai, and Hideyu Hori at EUREKA, the project demonstrates thoughtful integration of daily functions with inclusive social spaces. The architecture thoughtfully addresses the needs of diverse age groups, creating an inviting environment that strengthens community bonds while accommodating practical transportation and retail operations within a cohesive design framework.
