Okurasan Collective Housing is a contemporary residential project completed in 2008, located in Kohoku Ward, Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture. Designed by renowned architect Kazuyo Sejima of Sejima and Associates, this terrace house complex exemplifies modern Japanese residential design. The building demonstrates a sophisticated approach to row house typology, balancing individual privacy with community integration. Sejima's signature minimalist aesthetic and attention to spatial flow are evident throughout the project. The design thoughtfully addresses the hillside topography of its Okurasan location, creating a harmonious relationship between architecture and landscape.
