The Omori Nagaya represents a significant contemporary exploration of traditional Japanese row house typology. Designed by architect Toshiaki Ishida, this project served as a crucial case study for PWP Research, examining how vernacular housing forms could be reimagined for modern urban living. The design thoughtfully balances historical architectural language with contemporary functionality, demonstrating innovative spatial planning within the constraints of dense urban environments.
