The Roof Garden at The Valletta Design Cluster is a contemporary urban landscape project completed in 2021 on Bull Street in Valletta, Malta. This innovative public space represents a thoughtful intervention in the historic Mediterranean city, blending modern design principles with cultural heritage preservation. Developed collaboratively by the Restoration Directorate and the Ministry Responsible for Culture alongside architect Tetsuo Kondo, the garden serves as a vibrant gathering space for residents and visitors. The project exemplifies how contemporary architecture can enhance public amenities while respecting the distinctive character of Valletta's UNESCO World Heritage setting, offering a fresh perspective on urban park design.
