Descending Star Roof is a residential conversion project completed in 1995 in Katano, Osaka, designed by Nitta Masaki Architectural Space Atelier. This innovative project transforms a traditional vernacular dwelling into a multifunctional space serving both residential and theatrical performance purposes. The design thoughtfully integrates contemporary architectural concepts while respecting the existing structure's historical character.
