Kashitebukuro Nagaya is a contemporary terrace house completed in 2014 in Minami Ward, Saitama City, designed by architect Takashi Fujino of Seibutsu Kenchikusha. This project thoughtfully reinterprets the traditional nagaya typology through a modern lens, creating a harmonious living environment that respects both historical context and contemporary needs. The design demonstrates sophisticated spatial planning while maintaining the connected community essence characteristic of traditional row houses, making it an exemplary case study in adaptive architectural practice for urban residential development.
