Shiki no Oka Danchi is a residential complex located in Minami-awaji, Hyogo Prefecture, completed in 2004. Designed by architect Shigeru Morishita of Morishita Architectural Institute, this project combines housing with social educational facilities. The complex represents contemporary Japanese residential design, seamlessly integrating community spaces with apartment units. Its thoughtful approach to mixed-use development reflects modern urban planning principles while maintaining harmony with the local Awaji Island environment. The project demonstrates how residential architecture can serve broader community needs beyond mere housing provision.
