Shuzenji Forum Gatsugetsu, completed in 1990, represents a significant example of late 20th-century Japanese architecture. Located in Shuzenji, Shizuoka Prefecture, this multifunctional complex seamlessly integrates residential spaces, exhibition facilities, and a theater hall. Designed by architect Masaru Tominaga and Form System Design Laboratory, the building demonstrates thoughtful consideration of program diversity within a unified architectural vision. The structure reflects the era's approach to community-oriented design, harmonizing modern functionality with sensitivity to the historic hot spring town's character.
