Takeo City Library Renovation, completed in 2013, represents a notable example of adaptive reuse and contemporary library design in Saga Prefecture. Located in Takeo, this project was developed through collaboration between Studio Akiri, CCC, and Satoh Master Plan. The renovation transformed the existing library facility into a modern cultural space while respecting its architectural heritage. The design balances functional library requirements with aesthetic considerations, creating an inviting environment for the community. This project demonstrates how thoughtful architectural intervention can revitalize public institutions and enhance their role as gathering spaces within the city.
