Parthenon Tama, a cultural complex in Tokyo's Tama City, underwent a comprehensive renovation completed in 2021. This architectural project, designed by a collaborative team led by Makoto Furuya in partnership with NASCA, Higashihata, and Morimura Design, seamlessly integrates theater and museum facilities. The renovation thoughtfully modernizes the original structure while preserving its cultural significance. The facility now serves as a vibrant center for performing arts and exhibitions, reflecting contemporary design principles while maintaining accessibility and functional excellence for the local community.
