Toyohashi East Exit Station Plaza, completed in 1998, represents a significant urban renewal project in Aichi Prefecture. Designed collaboratively by Phase Associates, Lighting Planners Associates, Japan Engineering Consultants, and Urban Architectural Planning Institute, the plaza demonstrates thoughtful contemporary design principles.
