UTSUROI TSUCHIYA ANNEX is a contemporary accommodation and commercial facility completed in 2018, designed by architect Hiroyuki Kakita. Located in Kinosaki, Toyooka City, Hyogo Prefecture, this building exemplifies modern hospitality architecture. The structure thoughtfully integrates lodging and retail functions while responding sensitively to its cultural heritage context. With careful attention to spatial design and material selection, the annex enhances the visitor experience while respecting the character of this historic hot spring resort town.
