Yanagase PARK LINE 2020 is a dynamic public space project completed in 2020 in Gifu City. Designed collaboratively by Miyuki Design, Itoh Architectural Design Office, and the community initiative "Make Yanagase an Enjoyable Town," this innovative park transforms a portion of Prefectural Road 151 into a vibrant gathering space. The project reimagines urban public areas by creating flexible parks and plazas that encourage community interaction and revitalize the historic Yanagase district. Through thoughtful spatial design and adaptive use of existing infrastructure, this project demonstrates contemporary approaches to urban renewal and placemaking in Japan.
