Yuriage Wakaba Kindergarten, completed in 2022 in Natori, Miyagi Prefecture, represents a contemporary approach to early childhood educational spaces. Designed by the collaborative team of Denefes and Ishihara Kenya plus Ishimori Fumihiro of Ishimori Architects, this facility demonstrates thoughtful integration of pedagogical needs with architectural design. Located in the Yuriage district, the kindergarten serves as an important community resource while showcasing modern design principles tailored to creating nurturing environments for young children.
